Formula Feeding Lived Experience

​In Canada, approximately 1/10 women do not breastfeed, highlighting the need to ensure that caregivers are equipped with adequate information and resources to safely formula feed. 

​

In April 2020, we conducted a survey of mothers and caregivers from across Canada asking what their formula feeding experiences entailed.  The attached document outlines the summary of the results and how this information relates to occupational therapy.

Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorder Screen

Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders are very common during pregnancy and postpartum.  If you think you have been experiencing more persistent and intense fluctuations in your mood or if you have any risk factors for PMADs, please complete a self-screen. 

 

Include someone you love and trust in the screening process and be sure to communicate the results to your care provider as soon as possible.
